Here at A C Endersen, we compose the finest professional millwork shop drawings in the valley. In this, we begin by scanning the entire architectural drawings into digital format. This not only has proven to be a necessary backup for both us and the client, but also helps us in our next step. We duplicate the floor plan straight from the architectural drawings by importing the file and using the architect's floor plan as a template. After we draw the floor plan, we detail the elevations, sections, and details as needed or required. When everything is drawn, we include a printed in color Plastic Laminate color sheet and hardware spec. sheet. After our drawing is complete, we print the full job off onto tabloid size (11 x 17 inches) including a glossy color printed cover sheet and a chipboard backing for support. This along with the architectural drawings are sent back to the client via email (for the preliminary set), courier service, or Fedex (out of state). With the use of Microvellum®, there are even more services offered. A cut-sheet of all the measurements of the material are exported into an excel file. In fact, with the compatibility of the client's machines, all the pieces to the cabinet are cut to the right dimensions according to our drawing's specifications. (Requires a licensed copy of Microvellum) At the client's request, we can provide a few extra services. We can print on larger sheets (D, E size, 42" wide). This allows for larger floor plans and elevations per sheet. Also, for clarity purposes, we can print the entire job in color, distinguishing between elevation markers, annotation, etc. All payment, pricing, and specifications are to be mandated between Art Endersen and the client.
